About the event
We're back at Blackwater Falls Lodge in Davis, WV for another annual foray of the WV Mushroom Club. This will be a 3-day event filled with speakers, walks, talks, art, vendors, hands-on workshops, mushroom tastings and more! Read ticket options carefully--some workshops require an additional fee or at least a reservation, and they fill up quickly! Also, plan your schedule carefully, and notice workshops that might overlap.
Tickets do not cover lodging. You will need to contact Blackwater Falls directly for accommodations. They have camping, cabins, and rooms in the lodge.

Three FULL days of walks, talks, workshops, and shopping--full of mushrooms! This ticket covers admission for one person to all speakers and walks, pizza supper with mushroom toppings Friday night, and the mushroom tasting supper Saturday night. Notice certain workshops need an additional ticket.

Volunteer Full 3-Day Pass
Three FULL days of walks, talks, workshops, and shopping--full of mushrooms! This is a volunteer pass. In exchange for the discounted price, we ask that you help out at the foray for one shift of up to 4 hours, though most are considerably less. Our volunteer coordinator will be reaching out to you prior to the event to help schedule you so that you don't miss your favorite activities. Please provide good contact information and be ready to sign up to help out!

Fri 2:30 Mushroom Extracts
In this class we will cover how to make a variety of potent mushroom extractions. We will cover the basics of extracting different properties of mushrooms with water, alcohol, glycerine and oil. During the class you will start your own 5oz. reishi or maitake tincture and learn how to finish dual water extraction at home. Walk away confident about the purpose of different extraction techniques and knowing how to make your own extracts at home!

Sun 9am Mushroom Preservation2
SUNDAY, 9AM. This is a repeat of Mushroom Preservation #1, for those who couldn't attend. Learn the techniques of mushroom preservation for culinary use: tea, jerky, broth, shrub from Flannel Roots Farm. You must have a 3-Day Pass to purchase this ticket and attend. This class takes place at the same time as some of the other workshops--check that your schedule doesn't conflict!
